WASL Week: We are definitely into the WASL mode this week. Please note the WASL procedures that Patti handed out. Highlights:

  • No morning announcements this week
  • Please keep the thought of communications/interruptions in mind during the morning. We do have signs that indicate that WASL testing is occuring

Miles and I have gone through each classroom and left the checklist at your desk or door. Please keep the following in mind:

  • 1. The checklist does identify what needs to come down or covered up. If questions please see Miles, Patti, or Arturo. Please note that when in doubt we added it to the list. The last thing we need is an unnecessary concern voiced by any district WASL police that might wander through :)

  • 2. Outside door decorations need to be removed or the window can be cut out (Jack Higgins did a great job with this)

  • 3. Snacks can be picked up by 8:00 am each morning that you are testing. They will be located on the stage. The tub will have your name on it. It is recommended that they be picked up before the WASL booklets.4. Stay positive and keep the good energy flow with your kids.

Climbing Wall: The climbing wall is being taken down and a new one installed today. Please keep this in mind if you are desiring to use the gym. It is a one day project-most likely won't go beyond that due to the installers being from out of state.
