LIC: We will be working on scheduling classes for next year. A few friendly reminders: we are not notifying parents until the postcards go out in August, there will be some adjustments as students are added or withdrawn, Karen will give a form to submit to the office. Two considerations to the blue and pink cards: 1) use of a 4 point scoring scale rather than 5, 2) add an Overall Behavior score right underneath the Overall Social/Emotional category.
WA Arts Commission: We will be having work done this Thursday. The artist, Hai Yin Wu, will be here from China to oversee the installation of our art piece. The location is the front of the school. This may have some impact on traffic in front of our school for drop-off or pick-up. We will also be determining of some type of ceremony might be put together. The Arts Commission representative hasn't been able to communicate much with Mr. Wu on his schedule and thoughts. He's very much the artist!
