Report Cards: If you have tecnical problems over the weekend and are not able to get report cards to us on Monday, please let either Miles or myself know. I realize that there have been challenges with TAC the last couple weekends; hopefully it won't happen this weekend.

Yearbooks: Yearbooks were to go home last Friday. If you did not get them to students please do so by Monday. Please stress the following first thing this Monday with all students regardless of when yearbooks were/are distributed: 1) Have students write their names on their yearbooks because lost yearbooks will not be replaced-see back, 2) recommend that students write on the autograph section of their yearbook-get permission from parents to write elsewhere first, 3) review that inappropriate comments, nicknames, or damage to other students' books are referred to the office for discipline-even if the owner of the book gives permission, 4) these are keepsakes and students as well as parents will be referring to them for years to come...let's be considerate and use them as a positive way to remember each other.

Field Day: Below is the information (with inserts from our staff meeting) sent out by Lynn via email last week.

Grades pm k, 2, 4, & 6 have Field Day 1:00 to 2:30
*No Afternoon Recess for Grades 1, 2, & 3. Please take your planning during your field day time.
*No P.E. all day. Please take your planning during your field day time.
*Every Teacher is responsible for getting 2 or more volunteers to help out. AM group will need to be there at 8:30 to help set up and PM group will need to help clean up.

A.R.: There has been a bit of emailing going back and forth regarding A.R. If you still have questions or clarification is still needed, please check with Amber before she leaves Monday (her last day at Carson). Amber's sub will be Terry Ryan, a retired librarian. Please, please work to get as many books back as we can from students. Crystal had her students call and leave a message at home for their parents and themselves as a reminder that they still have books out--what a great idea!

Cleaning and Melissa: Please check with Melissa regarding cleaning questions. I have met with Melissa and reviewed furniture that will be moved between classrooms due to our shifting of 6th grade to the cottages. A reminder that students are not to move furniture (regardless of how strong and willing they are). Staff, a friendly reminder that if you are moving tables, they are to be picked up not pushed or pulled (even if nothing is on the top); the legs will break off at the top. The filing cabinets also require that they be emptied before they are moved.

Math Curriculum: Please don't start packing your math curriculum yet. I am hoping to verify what materials are leaving the building and which are staying by Monday.

Check Out: Please realize that Miles and I will be in and out of the building due to other district commitments/meeting that have been scheduled for next week. If you are going to be checking out the following week please see Karen to assure that one of us will be available when you anticipate checking out. We are anticipating 'everyone' being signed out by Wednesday, June 24th at noon! Due to the changes in classrooms and new staff having their things brought over, we won't be able to accept any check-out forms that have not been signed off. Thanks in advance for your support on this big endeavor.
