LIC Coll. & Team.: We will begin or Collaboration and Teaming day as a whole group in the library. Topics to cover will include review of reading assessment results (STAR, WRI, etc.-customozed to your grade level), review of Walk to Read Groups, review of math/reading pacing schedule, winter writing assessement, and ELO progress. Although some of the grade levels have already completed their ELO for the year. Please note that this last week it was shared that there are some additional I-728 funding that buildings (by grade level) may apply. If you are interested please let Arturo know.
Committee Meeting Minutes: Please check out the information to the right: it includes minutes from the following committees: Accelereted Reader/Reading, PACK Leadership, and Diversity
Coyote Tracks: We will begin our Coyote Tracks Mile Club this week. Look for information during morning announcements this Tuesday.
Science Fair: Some grade levels are choosing to have a science project requirement, others are not. However, if students are participating then we will have a format so that they can be scored to see if they will continue on to the district science fair. If questions, please see Arturo.
Recycling Containers: Please be sure to have students break down boxes that are being tossed into the recycling containers. We have had papers fly out due to the lids not being closed properly and the container being overflowing due to the boxes tossed inside. if you notice that the container is overflowing, please let Carol know.
PACK Leadership Team Meeting: We have moved our PACK Meeting to the following week by request. Here is the homework that we have for us at this time: find a replacement person for to represent the grade level (unless you are interested in continuing)
WATCH DOGS: Don't forget that the WATCHDOG dads who have signed up for the year can be found on the google calendar. This calendar is updated whenever we get information that a new dad has signed up. Once you click on the watchdog details it will give you the fathers name and classrooms that the children are in.
Miles is gone this week... but we are anticipated to have a sub assistant principal, but are unsure as to who wills how up on our doorstep on Tuesday morning-I guess they're just as hard to come by as sub teachers!
