Report Cards
Just a reminder to let Karen know on Monday if you need your first drafts printed for review by Arturo or Miles. Also, when you turn in your empty folder, Karen knows you are ready for final copy printing. Remember, when you receive the final copies, you still need to hand mark the indicators for Quest, Title/LAP, IEP, and ELL.
We want to express our appreciation for your efforts as some of you continued to work through challenges with TAC and entering comments. On the brighter side, every round we do these, the system is getting better!

Fundraisers
At this time, there are many fundraisers and collections going on. Your generosity and participation are greatly appreciated! I am amazed how many items have already been donated for our Gift Makers sports toy donations. Remember to bring any additional items to Miles on Monday or Tuesday  morning for collection this Tuesday. Mark is coordinating the Giving Tree collection so be sure to check in with him for any questions about this. Our Food Drive begins next Monday, Dec. 8th, so start saving up those canned and boxed food items now! Remember, this one is school-wide and we will be tracking the quantity of donations so we can do some healthy competing across  the schools. We may not have won at bowling, but at giving I know we dominate!

WIN Volleyball
The sign-up is outside of Miles's office. Games will be Thursday nights for 9 weeks starting in January. Our goal? To have fun as a team and participate in a little healthy but non-intimidating competition among the schools! I have volunteered our gym so we should be having many home games. The name of the game is FUN, and I know we have the right staff for that! See me (Miles) for more details and the waiver to sign.

Repairs
Many repairs have been occuring inside and outside the building lately. You may have noticed our driveway is finally lit up in the mornings and evenings along with a bunch of news signs posted outside to better guide traffic. Inside, they have been working on windows. If you still have one that is not functioning correctly or not locking, please let us know right away. Two other main issues are still the door handles/locks throughout the building and calibrating our HVAC system. If you do have a room that is exceptionally cool or hot, please let Melissa know so that she can record the temperature and report it for adjustment. There are many other small repairs going on beyond these as well, but if you are noticing anything non-functioning or damaged, please let Miles or Arturo know right away so that we can get it repaired under warranty which is about up for our final punch list.

iGoogle
If you are still not up and running with the Google Calendar, Blogs, and iGoogle interface, please let me know right away for a private lesson! You can schedule a half hour through Karen on Miles's calendar and then BYOLaptop to my office for configuration.
