Forza Friday Everyone!

Wednesday Luncheon: Last year the men of Carson put together a breakfast spread for Valentines Day. This year we've missed the boat due to the short week. However we are making it up by now having a Belated Valentiens or President's Day Luncheon (you choose) this Wednesday. Join us in the staff room.

Board Member Visit: Sometime this week-it appears that it will be Thursday- we will have a visit from Mr. Pat Donovan. Mr. Donovan is our newest School Board Member and is replacing Mr. Bruce Dammeier for the remainder of his term on the board.

Bingo Baskets: We are beginning to get the themes for our Bingo Baskets and the excitment is building-we can't wait! Getting the themes out helps to decrease duplicating, but please be sure to also email our Bingo Chair Andrea with the news. Her email is andreaandchris@comcast.net Thank you all for your support with this very fun event.

Olweus Topic of the Week: Time to review the 4 rules about bullying---we are hoping to catch kids around Carson who have memorized the 4 rules to earn a Carson KUDO! Now that we have been following the rules this year, ask students what impact they feel they have had. Is there anything else they would like to see done to make our school a better place?

Pennies for Patients: We're done with this non profit fundraiser. Thank you everyone for the support and patience these last three weeks, particularly with the management of it all. Special appreciation to Danielle McGuire and Sarah Simon for stepping up and taking the lead this year. Based on conversations, this fund raiser seems to have hit home to so many people. We did meet, and slightly exceed our goal of $4,000. It was that much more challenging because of the downturn in the economy. We'll get the purple hair and shaved head on CNN this Friday!
