PTA Fundraiser Delivery
PTA Fundraiser Items: The merchandise is scheduled to arrive this Thursday and will be stored in the gym until it can be picked up after school by parents. Please keep this in mind as it may affect whether or not the gym will be available for PE (Vince, you will be OK timewise).
Oct. 24th Staff Meeting: The meeting covered the following topics: Giftmakers/Thanksgiving Baskets,
Emergency Drills and Substitutes, Student Dismissal, Outside Agencies and Letters, Native American Presentation, Potential Karshner Museum Fundraiser, and Staff Parking. If you were not at the meeting please connect with a colleague for information or chat with Andrea or Arturo. The picture to the right is of the craftsman, Bad Hands, who Karshner Museum is working with for the purchase of a genuinely and traditionally made Native American teepee.
Picture Retakes: A reminder that the individual pictures are used for the yearbook as well as for other events/activities. So, if you have not had your picture taken yet, please do so this Thursday (See calendar above). A bonus is that they also give some free pictures just for being you at Carson!
ELO Applications: Thank you for everyone who has submitted an ELO. If you have not submitted one but plan to please let Andrea know this week as well as plan on submitting it. Our goal is to have them approved by the end of the week from ESC. If you are not anticipating submitting an ELO, please let us know as well.
PACK Topics: Our next PACK Leadership meeting will be Nov. 7th. Topics already on the agenda include 1) LIC Calendar for the remainder of the year, 2) Professional Development for this year-bring needs along with potential ideas to meet those needs; we might even make some decisions at this meeting, 3) Going to College Initiatives, and Diversity Day/Year update and information.
November LIC Calendar: Nov. 2nd/EC, Nov. 9/EC, Nov. 16/CT (this was traded for conferences evening on Oct. 12), Nov. 23/Planning Time Make-Up, Nov. 30/Individual
