Tardy Students and Lunches: ALL students that are tardy and ordering lunch, we are ordering choice for them. They are not given a choice except to have the choice offering. Two reasons: we are trying to get students to their classrooms as fast as possible, and we are needing to send in numbers to food service.

Carson Staff Honoring Veterans

Many of our students are honoring family members who have served and are presently serving in the military. Students are decorating stars and writing the names of their loved ones on them. Those stars are being placed on a banner to be hung outside their classrooms and around the building.

We also want to give you, our staff, the opportunity to remember and honor your family members and friends who have served and are presently serving our country. There will be a banner in the staffroom on Monday, Novemer 7th through Wednesday, November 9th. We invite you to participate by writing a n
ame or placing a picture or item of someone you would like to remember on the banner in honor of Veteran’s Day. We will hang the banner up near the gym Wednesday evening afterschool and in time for our Veteran’s Day Assembly on Thursday, November 10th. Thanks, to Barb Nequette, for giving our staff the opportunity to honor our Veterans.

Veteran’s Day Programs at Carson: Carson’s 5th graders will sing at our Veteran’s Day Assembly on Thursday, November 10th at 8:45 a.m. There will be an evening performance on Monday, November 14th at 6:30 pm f

ollowing our 6:00pm General PTA meeting. We wish to honor all veterans as well as those currently serving our country.
