Behavior Expectations Review: Welcoming students back after the new year includes a review for all students of behavior expectations regarding common areas: hallway/transitions, bathrooms, lunchroom, dismissal, lining up, building access during recess/lunch. It is recommended that no more than two be covered per day, but all should be covered within the week. Although it does take time, it is a great reinforcer for those students who have been here all year while also catching those students who arrived after this info was covered. If you have questions, please see Arturo or Andrea.
New Copier is Here: The new copier has arrived and is ready for use. Our first item on our PACK Agenda for Monday after school will be Copier Use Procedures. There were a number of ideas that were suggested from staff members when it was determined to go with one copier. Please be sure that these suggestions are shared with your PACK rep so that we can make procedural decisions on Monday that will help us to get the most out of working with one copier.

Diversity Day Schedule-feedback on this year's tentative schedule
Drills Week Next Week: Monday/Fire Drill, Tuesday/Earthquake, Wednesday/Emergency Lockdown, Thursday/Shelter-In-Place. Please take some time to review the school procedures as a team. Our SRO has been invited to the Emergency Lockdown Drill to provide feedback. Remember, we always look for feedback from staff to our Safety Committee.
Diversity Committee New Schedule: The Diversity Committee will be meeting on Thursday mornings instead of after school due to staff commitment conflicts. Keeping in mind that the committee is open to everyone on staff, if you are interested in joining us, the start time will be at 7:30 am.

Grandparents Day: Grandparents Days begin this week. Since we may have some out of town grandparents who may be coming only once, there is the possibility of a sibling from another grade level being called down to to have lunch on the non-designated grade level date on any given grandparent day...thank you in advance for your flexibility.
