We are into December!

Report Cards: There will be copy of a letter to send home with the report cards talking about the challenges with the comments section; very similar to the information that was included in our last school newsletter

LIC Wednesday: This Wednesday will be on the rather full side due to our last gathering being in October. We will be meeting in the Library and classroom. The agenda will emphasize student learning items and Smart Board professional development

PACK Meeting Results: The pack meeting met on Friday and covered three main topics. Stipends and Professional Development, Professional Development. Feedback was requested from your next grade level meeting. Check out the minutes on the right.

PTA & Office Flyers: Please don't forget that we are to be sending home information from the office and the PTA the same day if put in boxes before your first recess, or the following day if put in boxes after that first recesses (even if it means sending home before your weekly folders). Please also assure that the system you have worked out for sending info home for absent students and Quest is working well. There was a bit of complaining at the PTA general membership meeting this last Wednesday.

Accelerated Reader: Please be sure to emphasize the AR program with your students. We are excited about having the program up and fully running. PTA has also completed their commitment to the program by providing us with a $3,100 check this last Wednesday. If you have questions about the program please see Amber.

Community Service: The community service bulletin board is up and running! Be sure to click on the link to the right (in the BLOGs section) to review the process for getting extra student help for your events and activities! Look for more info posted by your mailboxes. Thank you Lauri and Holly!!

Fire Drill: We will save the fire drill for until the weather isn't so bad. Hopefully we can fit it in at the end of the week. We will notify staff beforehand.
