Diversity Committee Meeting: The committee will finalize the Gary Howard reading schedule/format as well as address updated information regarding the district diversity events for this year. Join us in the conference
Fire Drill: We have a fire drills scheduled for this Tuesday. Please note that it will be driven by the weather. Right now the whole week is projected to be raining. If so, we may end up needing to wait until next week.
CCTV: Friendly reminder that unless we identify differently, we will have our Coyote News Network every Tuesday from now on. In addition, we are beginning to work with students on running the show as well as get some guests. If you're interested in being a guest (certificated and classified invited) please let Miles or Arturo know.
Friday Spirit Day: We are planning on taking off soon with our Friday Spirit. This will be an optional event for students. From 8:15-8:30 (approximately) we will have an ongoing event designed to encourage community building. If you would like to assist with this event in any way (volunteer to help with supervision, lead a sing-along, plan a skit with students or staff, etc. please let Maria know). This is your opportunity to perform, MC, or support this event with your presence. The possibililitis are endless. Please look for more information coming very soon!
Report Card Window: The report card window is open for this trimester from Feb. 13-Mar.13. The report cards will go home on March 14.
Printing: Please remember the basics when printing: 1) use the printers only for single type copies, 2) use the copiers for less than 25 copies, 3) use printshop whenever you have more than 25 copies (sending batches with multiple classrooms helps even more). These basics can save us so much in copying costs. We are approx. $2,000 in the hole with almost five months to go; Yikes!
Carson Kudos: Thank you for supporting the Carson Kudos! Students are excited when they bring them to the office. Don't hesitate to vary them every once in awhile! A little variety always spices things up a bit!
