DIBELS Testing
PTA Dance: 5:30-8:00 pm with TJ the DJ

Thank you for the hard work during the grade level meetings. They have been very successful. Miles and I are working on limiting our presentation down to 15 minutes for the Curriculum Nights. We'll get better!

DIBELS Testing
Please schedule with Patti for DIBELS Testing.

PACK Leadership
PACK Leadership highlights include: October Conferencing Night, ELO Allocations, Stipends, sub binder, etc. Please check in with your rep for the details. The one category that we did not address is the fundraising commitments for the year. Please get these ideas to your reps and we will make a decision at the next meeing in October.

WALK to READ
For those grade levels needing additional time to begin the Walk-To-Read program, please let Mile or Arturo know of the adjustment. We are looking at a difference of days rather than weeks.

Library
Amber will be running an open library from 2:00-2:30 pm starting this coming week. Please keep in mind that we need to keep the halls clear of students wandering around.

Accelerated Reader Testing
We have a great group of parents who are coming in and supporting our AR program. However, please follow through with assuring that students are taking tests on their own, this includes reading the questions. The only exception is first grade during the first semester.
Please set standards for parents when in the building. We have had many wandering in before school without checking in and/or just going into teacher's rooms.

Diversity Committee
The Diversity Committee will be scheduling a meeting for this week. Times are still trying to be worked out. Please check with your reps for topics.

Flex Time
Please let Karen know by Wednesday what your start time will be for this year. Per contract you can either start your day earlier and then leave early, or start later and then stay later. This needs to be consistent for all work days. The exception would be for Wednesday LIC when we all must be there until 3:30.

Class Meetings
Just a reminder that you should be having one class meeting per week related to the Olweus program. We are also working on a reward for all students who memorize the 4 rules against bullying. It is a great way to get your meetings started!
