Celebrations and Thanks...
- What a great dinner that PTA put out for us during our conferencing night. There was enough to even have lunch the following day. Although it was a team effort by many of our fabulous parents, please be sure to thank Mrs. -- for coordinating this delicious effort!
- Way to go on conferences! I saw many smiling faces on students and parents as they walked the halls last Wednesday! It is inspiring to see how motivated the families get when they feel a strong partnership with the classroom teachers and support staff. KUDOS to you all!
- YOUNG and OLD, you are Looking Good! I hope you all had a blast with our end of the month dress up day! Thank you to Student Council for your excellent work organizing the dress up day and putting on a great show for us at the assembly! By the way, I would welcome any feedback about the end of the day version of our monthly spirit assembly. What are your thoughts? Should we flip flop every other month or stick with am or pm? All input is welcome!

Olweus Topic: What is lunchtime like at Carson? Who do you sit with, what do you do, what do you talk about? What do you like most about it? What would you change if you could?
Food Drive: The need to access the food banks is significantly increasing in our community. We are excited about making this a very successful food drive. This year we will be working towards a school goal rather than classroom competition (this will make it a lot easier on everyone). The food will be dropped off in the foyer. Questions? Mrs. == is again overseeing this food drive.
Health Screening: Just a reminder that due to a volunteer shortage there will not be a runner. In order to keep it all running smoothly, please be sure to have your class ready at your assigned time. If you have questions chat with Dolora.
Furniture Installation: Some new furniture is headed our way. It will be arriving on Wednesday after students are dismissed movers are expected to be here by 12:30 pm. This means some furniture shifting between classrooms. We'll let you know if you are impacted, otherwise, it's just a heads up that there will be district warehouse movers here making some noise (hopefully not too much). For those of you who have the temporary white chairs that are on loan, please put them outside your door on Wednesday after students are dismissed. They will automatically be replaced with chairs from the incoming order. If you do not want them replaced, or if you would like more, then please put a sticky note so that the movers know your specific request. Please do not include other furniture items on the sticky.
