Carson Clean Up Day, 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Olweus Topic: Let's talk about community service. How do we give back for all of the great things our community provides for us? How can we give back as a school...classroom...individual? Remind kids about the food drive and the Carson Clean Up on Saturday. Try to set some goals for success.

The Dan Vesey Art Show: The 12 Annual Dan Vesey Art Show, an all district Art Show will he held at the Karshner Museum from April 27 through May 4. The student artist reception will be held on May 4, 6-8 pm. Valley Arts United has joined with the Puyallup School District to offer prizes for the winning pieces in two dimensional and three dimensional pieces. A Superintendent’s Award is given to one student and their artwork becomes part of the district collection of student Art. Deadline for entries April 15.
May is Washington State “Arts in Education Month:proclaimed by the Governor, Senate, Businesses, Organizations and School Districts. We are celebrating Arts Education Month. Throughout the month of May, we will: Empower every “connected community” to support the provision of arts education in their local schools; Engage school and district leaders in sharing ideas to build their arts education efforts; Encourage decision-makers to attend an Arts Education Month event in their local community, and experience first-hand the power of arts learning; Increase public awareness through state-level partnerships, extensive media outreach, and a strategically distributed event report to key decision-makers.
